Success story of NERF Interieur
NERF Interieur from Belgium stands for bespoke interior fittings from a single source. A small team from interior design, technical planning and carpentry works closely together, ensuring high quality and flexibility. Palette CAD has been a key tool in both planning and production for the past five years.
Challenge
From 2D production drawings to a fully integrated workflow
Their ideas were strong, but the process was often slow and fragmented. Planning was done in 2D, bills of materials were created manually, and CNC programming ran via separate programs. This resulted in a high level of coordination, frequent explanations, and multiple small sources of error. In the end, this mainly led to increased time effort and unnecessary strain.
Solution
One digital drawing as the central source of all project data
NERF redefined the process. With Palette CAD, all project data is created within a single 3D planning environment. Design, visualisation, and production are directly connected. Even the initial designs are already structured in a way that allows them to be developed into production without detours. Bills of materials are generated automatically, and CNC data is transferred directly from planning to manufacturing.

Result
Design quality, production reliability, and strategic efficiency
The difference is clearly noticeable. Coordination is faster, errors are reduced, and projects benefit from greater transparency. Clients understand designs, proportions, lighting, and materials earlier, enabling faster decisions. At the same time, production processes have become significantly more reliable, as all data comes from a single drawing. This results in time savings, reduces dependency on individuals, and ensures continuity and consistently high quality.
